Vitaburn Green Coffee Cleanse with Pure Detox Plus – Possible Scam

review of Vitaburn green coffee diet pillVitaburn is the latest in a long line of weight loss supplements that portray themselves as a miracle in a bottle. It is a green coffee bean extract (GCBE) based formula, and appears intent on riding the craze for that extract all the way to the bank. Will consumers be taken for a ride as well, or does this product actually work?

Vitaburn is the latest in a long line of weight loss supplements that portray themselves as a miracle in a bottle. It is a green coffee bean extract (GCBE) based formula, and appears intent on riding the craze for that extract all the way to the bank.

Will consumers be taken for a ride as well, or does this product actually work?

Vitaburn appear to be offering a trial offer (along with a product called Pure Detox Plus) – We should point out that that have been many dissatisfied customers and complaint logged about either non delivery or additional money taken from account. One example is here

What Is Vitaburn And How Does It Work

Vitaburn official website with a trial offerAccording to the website, Vitaburn is a system that combines a patch and pills. The patch is supposed to be applied to the problem area and a plus sign on the patch fades as the ingredients begin to work. The pills are supposed to destroy fat cells and create a feeling of fullness.

The website does not go beyond that by way of description. It promises that users will melt away fat without exercise, and obtain tighter abs, a firmer behind and thinner legs. There are no details on how many patches to use, how many pills to take or how long to use the supplement before expecting to see results. The patch is supposed to target ingredients where you want results, but what if you want results on legs, butt, and abs together?  Must you choose only one area or can you wear three patches at once?

Whats In The Formula – Ingredients

Green Coffee beansVitaburn claims it is comprised of a unique, 100% natural combination of Green Coffee Bean, Green Tea, Bee Pollen, Guarana, Citrus Aurantium (Bitter Orange) and White Kidney Bean. It does not specify how much of each ingredient is in each pill, or how many pills are to be taken throughout the day.

While each of the listed ingredients have separately been shown to have varying effects on metabolism (fat burning), digestion, weight-loss or hunger control it is impossible to discern from the available literature whether or not this product contains anything even approaching the supposed effective dose of each ingredient.

GCBE in particular has been proven in legitimate, peer-reviewed studies to help with weight loss, but it’s inclusion in this product is suspect. Vitaburn seems to be playing off of this by having a portion of the website focus on GCBE and claiming that the product is medically approved.

Vitaburn Media Focus

Vitaburn has been the focus of numerous customer complaints. In fact, a simple search engine query for Vitaburn returns a more than a full page of results that are complaints and scam reports.  Most of the complaints are centred on the company’s free trial and auto-ship programs. When customers sign up for the free trial, they are also enrolling in an auto-ship program that kicks in after 14 days. At that time the company has charged people a significant fee and a monthly fee thereafter.

VitaBurn Scam

While some customers surely did not read the fine print, others have also complained that the product did not arrive within the first 14 days – which did not give them time to try it and decide if they wanted to continue or cancel. Yet other complaints claim the product simply did not work.

Any Side Effects

This product claims that there are no reported side effects because the formulation is all natural. However, savvy consumers know that “all natural” does not automatically mean “no side effects”. In fact each of the listed ingredients has various reported potential side effects or interactions.

Green coffee bean, green tea (with small amounts of caffeine) and guarana can all cause restlessness and sleep problems. People who are sensitive to caffeine should be aware of this, and all consumers would be wise to not take products containing these substances near bed time.

Bee Pollen can cause serious allergic reactions in people who are allergic to pollen.

Bitter Orange, especially in combination with caffeine as it is here, has been the subject of conflicting studies about whether or not it raises blood pressure or increases the risks of a certain type of heart disease. It also worsens glaucoma.

Bean pod (including White Bean) can lower blood sugar and diabetics using bean pod should monitor their blood sugar closely. People scheduled for surgery should stop taking bean pod at least two weeks prior to their operation.

Pregnant or breastfeeding women should not use this or any other supplement without first discussing it with their doctor.

Is It Worth The Risk

Short answer: No. Vitaburn has all the hallmarks of a scam. Outrageous results claims?  Check!  Unsubstantiated, semi-official medical endorsements replete with guy-in-lab-coat?
