BPM Labs Liporush Review – Ingredients, Side Effects and Buying Info

BPM Labs LiporushLiporush is diet supplement made in Brisbane by BPM Labs. It’s not an entirely new product. It’s a revamped and rebranded version of an earlier product called LipoDrive.

The original product was quite well respected so its hard to say why BPM Labs changed so many of the ingredients and there is a lack of customer feedback so it is impossible to say if the change is for the better.

Advertised benefits include:

  • Rapid energy release that lasts all day long
  • Incinerates fat
  • Increases the metabolism
  • Enhanced mood
  • Provides laser-like focus
  • Melts visceral fat deposits

Customers are also told if they use Liporush for four weeks they will see the kilos “fall off” and life will be much simpler for them.

What is Liporush and How Does it Work?

According to BPM Labs the formulation will drive fat away with a massive energy rush, but when the fancy claims are brushed aside the product is not all that different from many other fat burning supplements. Granted it is also designed to provide mood enhancement, but so are many other dieting products, so the big question is will Liporush be able to do it better?

Key Ingredients

A single scoop of Liporush provides 7g of a proprietary blend. The inclusion rates are not divulged, but the blend contains:

  • Taurine: A stimulant that is often used in energy drinks.
  • Siberian Rhodiola Rosea: Often called Golden Root, Siberian Rhodiola Rosea is used as an anti-depressant in Russia. It is sometimes added to supplements because it is believed to be useful for fighting fatigue.
  • Tyrosine: An amino acid that is often used as an appetite suppressant. Large doses may be capable of boosting mental alertness.
  • Caffeine: A stimulant that can improve mental alertness and boost energy levels. Caffeine is also a proven thermogenic fat burner.
  • Pouchong Tea Extract: A tea that is usually grown in Taiwan. Like green tea, Pouchong tea is high in antioxidants and is a source of caffeine. It also provides 2-amino-4-methylpentane, which may boost dopamine levels and create feelings of euphoria.
  • Thiamine: Also called Vitamin B1, thiamine is needed to help breakdown food and release its energy. Supplementation is seldom necessary because most people obtain a sufficient supply of thiamin from their food.
  • Nandina Domestica (Fruit) Extract: A species of shrub that provides the stimulant higenamine.
  • Green Tea Extract: Green tea is rich in antioxidants that can help protect the body from disease. It is also a scientifically proven thermogenic fat burner.
  • Bitter Orange Peel Extract: A species of citrus fruit that provides a fat burning stimulant called synephrine.
  • Cacao Plant Extract: More commonly called cocoa, cacao provides the stimulant theobromine. It is not as strong as caffeine, but may provide a slight energy boost.
  • Naringen: A grapefruit extract that has the ability to intensify the effects of caffeine.
  • Tetradium Extract: Another name for evodia. A study conducted on mice suggests it may assist fat burning, but this cannot be seen as proof that the ingredient will offer a similar potential to humans.
Usage Instructions –┬áThe powder should be mixed with 8-10oz of water. New users are advised to begin with a single scoop of powder so they can monitor for tolerance issues. If no problems are encountered it is permissible to use two scoops of powder. BPM Labs state Liporush should never be consumed within 7 hours of the intended bedtime, but fail to state how many doses are permitted each day.

Side Effects & Health Issues

BPM Labs state Liporush is only intended for healthy adults who are over 18-years of age. People who have have existing health problems or are using prescription or over the counter medication are advised to consult their physician prior to commencing supplementation. Needless to say, Liporush is not a suitable option for women who are pregnant or nursing a child.

Purchasing Options & Considerations

Although the BPM website contains information about the product no shopping cart facility is provided. The product can be purchased from a number of popular supplement retailers though, including Mass Nutrition and Supplement Warehouse, and the product information page provides a handy store locating tool. Liporush is available in a choice of three flavours (strawberry banana, peach mango, and blue raspberry), but some retailers do not stock all options. The price per tub can also very from one retailer to the next, but a (50 serving) tub generally cost $60 to $70, depending on the chosen supplier.

Guarantee

Liporush does not appear to be backed by a money back guarantee.

The Bottom Line

As a formulation Liporush looks pretty good, but the product contains several stimulants in unspecified amounts. This is less than ideal because some people do not tolerate stimulants well. If the doses are overly high even even people who don’t normally have problems with stimulants may experience tolerance issues.

The lack of customer feedback is also an issue, so although the product could very well do everything that is claimed for it, we feel dieters may be wise to avoid purchasing the product until it has had time to generate an amount of customer feedback that is sufficient to indicate how well it works for weight loss and if side effects are likely to be a problem.
